Why this exists...
After hosting our first retreat in January 2025, we knew we wanted to keep going-but not in a way that felt typical.
This Retreat was built from what we love- dark tones, fall energy, fantasy, mood, and artistry that doesn't always follow the rules.
It's not about being "spooky" in the cliche sense.
It's for the artist who don't fully resonate with the bright, trendy, everything-is-perfect aesthetic-and are ready to create something with a little more depth.

About Us
Erin Brenhouse - Educator of 25+ years, Nail Artist, Coach, and Retreat Host bringing structure, experience, and efficiency into every space she leads. Known for helping others find clarity, build confidence, and create functional systems that support long-term growth—both in their work and beyond it.
Jotanna Rowland - Nail artist of 17 years, Salon owner, Educator, and Retreat Host- here to push artistry, challenge the norm, and keep it real while doing it. Known for bold authenticity, genuine connection, and a deep care for helping others rise.

With over a decade in the nail industry, Santana has specialized in gel systems since 2013, including structure gel, polygel, dual forms, and soft gel techniques.
As an educator for six years-including teaching for the North carolina State Board- she's known for delivering clear, technique-driven education while emphasizing safety, professionalism, and real-world application.

FAQs
What airport should I fly into?
Arrive Asheville Regional Airport - AVL September 14. Check in is at 5PM EST. Plan for departure flight on September 18 in the afternoon. We will be finished with workshops at 12PM EST on the 18th.
How do I get from the airport to the house?
AVL airport is 33 miles from the house. You can use Uber or ride share with another attendee. You will be added to a private facebook group to connect!
What should I bring?
A full nail packing list will be e-mailed closer to retreat date but don't forget your swimsuit!
What's the weather like in September?
Mild weather ideal for outdoor activities, with average daily highs decreasing from 80°F to 72°F and lows around 57°F
Will there be downtime?
Yes, while our days are intentionally full, there will be space built in to relax, connect, and enjoy the mountain views and all the fun in house activities!

Cancellation Policy
Due to the limited nature of this retreat and the planning involved, all payments are non-refundable.
If you’re unable to attend, you may transfer your spot to another attendee with prior approval.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment in case of unexpected changes, emergencies, or travel disruptions.
